Older Aang

I did some doodles of older Aang in the aftermath of Episode 9 of The Legend of Korra. I really liked his new look; the puberty fairy was really nice to our goofy Avatar. Also, his adult air scooter is made of awesome.

I wanted to test if I could get his facial structure/expressions down for future fanart, so these doodles are very much based upon what I saw in the episode - nothing original. I also used pen to challenge myself - I never use or like pen that much, but it made sure that I wouldn't be able to fix my mistakes. I wanted to see what I would come up with on my first attempt. So, obviously, the doodles are not perfect, but they gave me a good assessment of what I need to improve. (And, they are also not meant as a serious artistic endeavor.)
